Workforce Solutions provides comprehensive human resource services for businesses and residents of the 13-county Houston-Galveston Gulf Coast region.
Workforce Solutions helps employers solve workforce-related business problems and area residents build careers, so that both can better compete in the changing worldwide economy.
Our Employer Service Division provides personalized service to help employers find qualified applicants for their jobs, build the skills and expertise of their new and current employees, and address human resource needs.
We operate multiple community-based career offices in 13 Texas Gulf Coast counties to help residents get a job, keep a job or get a better job – offering placement, career counseling and financial aid services.
We partner with the region’s businesses, educational institutions, civic organizations and community leaders to find solutions to current and future labor needs of industries that are vital to the region and its economy.
As part of the statewide Texas Workforce Solutions network, we partner with the Texas Workforce Commission and other workforce boards in the largest job-matching database in the state--WorkInTexas.com.
Workforce Solutions is funded by state and federal tax-dollars that are redirected back into the Gulf Coast region. We do not charge for our services.
In 2012, Workforce Solutions provided:
Employment services to 410,871 individuals
Business services to 22,962 employers
Outplacement services to 60 employers that had to downsize or close their businesses
Outplacement services to 5,300 workers who lost their jobs
Financial aid totaling more than $132+ million for job training, child care assistance and job related support services
Financial aid that benefited a daily average of 24,596 children
Hydroball
Hydroball Technics has successfully developed a Non-Powered Automatic Tube Cleaning System for heat exchangers and condensers with R&D ingenuity and sound engineering design that covers every potential reduction in energy consumption. Innovation to achieve “state-of-the-art design” was given full management support. The revolutionary Hydroball System eliminates equipment downtime and also optimizes energy consumption of equipment by automatically keeping the heat exchanger tubes perpetually free from fouling and scaling deposits. Our test results show that all chillers in central air-con systems equipped with Hydroball System have trouble free operation with the technical support from local distributors.
